Paediatric Dentistry
Paediatric Dentistry is the dental care of children and adolescents.
What is Specialist Dentistry?
A registered specialist is a dentist who has undertaken years of postgraduate training to develop a level of expertise in a particular field of dentistry. This involves getting extra qualifications to eventually enable entry onto the specialist register, regulated by the GDC.
Our specialist Paediatric Dentist, Ms Amera Ammari can offer the full range of dental services for children and adolescents including:
- Cleaning of the teeth and application of fluoride
- Application of plastic ‘fissure sealants’ to the grooves of the teeth to prevent decay

- Root canal treatment of primary (baby) or permanent (adult) incisors and premolar teeth
